Can we make the world a better place?
With each step, with each mitzvah, we can. The Shaarey Zedek Tikun Olam
Committee offers a variety of volunteer opportunities throughout the
year to do just that. We challenge each community member to perform at
least one volunteer activity with the Tikun Olam Committee a month and pledge to
perform mitzvot everyday. The Tikun Olam Committee is chaired
by Glory Fleisher.

Chesed Shel Emet
Accompanying
the deceased to the grave is Chesed Shel Emet, a truly loving
act, which can not be repaid. Some of our community members have
no family or friends to act as pallbearers. You can help to
ensure that every Jew is buried with dignity and caring.
Please consider
adding your name to the community list of volunteer pallbearers.
Contact Estelle Raber at 975 3484 or eraber@shaareyzedek.mb.ca, or the Chesed Shel Emes at 582 5088 for more information. |
