Meet our Sous Chef, Kelly Wing

Kelly Wing was born and raised in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba, where he graduated high school in 1996. He then moved to Winnipeg where he attended Red River College and completed a two year course in Business Administration.

Upon graduation Kelly moved to Wainwright, Alberta for the summer and worked in the kitchen at the Canadian Forces Base. He then returned to Winnipeg where he went back to Red River College for the two year Culinary Arts course.

The first work practicum that Kelly was sent on was to Glendale Golf and Country Club. This is where he had the privilege of working with Shelley Martin and Joel Lafond for the first time. Kelly went on to work at Olive Garden, Liberty Grill and finally Falcon Lake Resort hotel for his second work term.

Kelly returned to Liberty Grill upon graduation and in January of 2001 came to Shaarey Zedek where he apprenticed under Shelley and attained his Red Seal.
