Bob Levenstein has always been a loyal supporter of the Adult Leisure Group. His dear wife, Rona, was an integral part of the program from its beginning. Bob’s mother attended programs for many years.
Bob has served the Shaarey Zedek Synagogue for as long as I can remember. He is a past president of the Board of Management and continues to serve on a variety of synagogue committees, as well as with other community projects. He volunteers for Meals on Wheels and has spent some time as a teacher’s aide for underprivileged children living in the core area of Winnipeg.
Bob celebrated a milestone birthday this year. He chose to have his friends honour him (if they so desired) with donations to the Adult Leisure Group. This was a heart-warming affirmation of our senior’s program.
Dear Bob, we wish you many more happy, healthy and fulfilling years. May you continue all your good works. You set a wonderful example for all of us. |
