One experiences an extra feeling of good will when an Adult Leisure member expresses her appreciation of our Monday afternoons. Gita Weltman has told me many times how much she looks forward to Adult Leisure days. Even though the lunches served are delicious, her special diet needs do not allow her to eat everything, but that doesn’t matter. What matters is the camaraderie – the enjoyment of being with people and the stimulation she receives from our wonderful programs. The anticipation of attending gives her much pleasure. Adult Leisure is the highlight of her week.
Todah RabahOur sincere thanks go to Faye Pesochin who made a generous donation to the Adult Leisure fund in honour of her son, David, who has performed along with Jill Brandes and Mitch Parks at many of our programs. We are also grateful to a generous anonymous donor from Toronto who chose our fund when sending a Shaarey Zedek tribute card. Donations such as these are of great help in sustaining our programs. |
