I am writing these few words on the day I lost a dear, long time friend, Fran Diamond. Fran was an important and tireless worker for the Jewish community. She was dedicated to the survival of Israel and passionate about the Hadassah-Wizo Projects. She was a Past President of Winnipeg Hadassah-Wizo and went on several work projects to Israel. Fran was always respected by all that knew and worked with her.
Fran was also a dedicated volunteer member of the Adult Leisure Group. We could always count on her support and valued contribution to our programs – except during golf season. That was another passion of hers that she enjoyed so much.
Fran was a loving mother and grandmother and a true and loyal friend. She always tried to do her best for all her loved ones.
We will miss Fran terribly and hold our fond memories of her close to our hearts. |
